Description
PHOTOPOLYMERIZABLE NANOHYBRID RESIN FOR ANTERIOR - POSTERIOR TYPE ADVANTAGES ¨ Very long-lasting restorations ¨ Easy handling and polishing ¨ Non-sticky texture ¨ Very low shrinkage and polymerization stress ¨ High radiopacity ¨ Friendly to antagonists with low abrasion values ¨ High mechanical properties ¨ High aesthetics and chameleon effect ¨ Suitable for monochromatic and polychromatic layering ¨ Wide range of colors. INNOVATION: The organic ULS monomer consists of high molecular weight carbon double bond chains which provide low polymerization shrinkage and low creep stress. The ULS monomer also has a higher degree of diffusion within the glass matrix compared to known UDMA .BIS-GMA monomers, thus minimal percentage of unpolymerized monomer. This innovation increases the final surface hardness of the restoration, thus achieving easy polishing and no dental plaque due to porosity. COMPOSITION The organic matrix consists of dimethacrylate molecules (18-22% by weight) and the innovative ULS monomer (Ultra Low Shrinkage). Reinforcing substances contain barium glass, ytterbium, and prepolymerized elements (83-78% by weight), stabilizers, and photoinitiators. HIGH TECHNOLOGY OF MONOMER SYNTHESIS. The Compo C composite resin is designed with the smallest possible volumetric shrinkage. The higher molecular weight provides better mechanical properties such as fracture resistance and greater plasticity. An additional advantage is the hydrophobic behavior and very low liquid absorption. NOVA COMPO C composite resin contains a minimal percentage of organic monomer such as TEGDMA. This property gives the material a great advantage because resins with a high percentage of low molecular weight monomers have a high modulus of elasticity and lower resistance to masticatory loads. In NOVA COMPO C resin, scientific research has resulted in an innovative combination of low molecular weight organic monomers that increase resistance to volumetric shrinkage stress during and after photopolymerization. HIGH EXPERTISE IN THE SYNTHESIS OF REINFORCING SUBSTANCES. NOVA COMPO C has been designed with a combination of micro- and macro-sized components, resulting in high aesthetics, increased durability, and high radiopacity. Reinforcing substances include prepolymerized nano-sized elements of 0.4 and 0.7 micron disilicate glass. The prepolymerized grains provide an extremely low shrinkage value, greater flexural strength, and color stability and adaptability to adjacent dental tissues. The higher strength prepolymerized components against masticatory loads provide greater fracture resistance than conventional resins. Another advantage of NOVA COMPO C is that the interspace of the inorganic glass matrix is occupied by the nano-sized organic chains, providing a uniform consistency and faster grinding and polishing. Another feature of NOVA COMPO C's functionality is the comfortable working time under the chair light. The refractive index of the nano-sized reinforcing substances and the organic matrix has been optimized to render the chameleon effect. Fillers with different optical properties capable of light transmission and scattering similar to the natural tooth structure were selected. TECHNICAL INFORMATION: ¨ Photopolymerization time: 20 sec ¨ Photopolymerization depth: 1.5 - 2.5 mm ¨ Compressive Strength: 360 MPa ¨ Modulus of Elasticity: 130 MPa Packaging: - Refills 1 x 4g Syringe Shades: (ALL)
