Chromagar Orientation is used for the chromogenic differentiation of urogenital pathogens, with E. Coli giving red colonies, Klebsiella metallic blue, Proteus mirabilis clear with a brown halo, and Enterococcus faecalis blue-green with a blue halo. This allows for easy visual detection of cultures with mixed flora.Inoculate the plates with the sample to be examined, as soon as possible after it is received from the laboratory.
